Siddalingaiiah among 5 of the k’taka to get Shri Padma

Bengaluru: Kannada Poet and Playwright Siddalingaah, who died in June from complications related covid, is among five of Karnataka to win the Padma Shri this year.

HR Keshava MurthysiddalingAiah is one of the prominent Karnataka Dalit poet and credited with launching the Dalit literary movement-Bandaya.

Abdhul Kadhar Nadakattin is an agricultural scientist and pioneer in the manufacture of agricultural equipment.
He founded the Center for Industrial Research and Development of Agriculture Vishwashanthi in 1975.
For 40 years, Nadakattin has contributed to the growth of agriculture by providing quality tools.
Nadakattin is the name given to the invention penaburannya machine.
