Siddhpur pounded by 206mm Rain

Palanpur: Using monsoon progressing farther, North Gujarat has begun getting heavy rains.
Three districts in the area including Banaskantha, Patan and Mehsana experienced substantial rains as Sunday night.
At Patan district, Siddhpur taluka obtained 206 mmSaraswati obtained 150 mmRadhanpur taluka listed 181 mmChanasma listed 90 mm while Sami obtained 82 millimeter rainfall.
Danta, Deesa, Vadgam talukas also observed heavy rains.
At Mehsana district, Palanpur regained 97mm rain.
Low lying areas from Palanpur such as Vrindavan, Kailashnagar, Becharpura, Anandnagar, civic hospital assumptions, BSR colony along with other adjoining regions got bombarded with rainwater.
Rainwater entered homes in low lying regions whereas some residential colonies witnessed electricity failure for few hours.
Intermittent rains continued through the day Monday as good.
Much like Palanpur, Amirgadh at Banaskantha also observed heavy rain.
