Chandigarh: Secretary General of Bharatiya Janata (BJP) General Tarun Chugh on Wednesday asked whether the minister of Punjab Baru Chararjit Singh Channi was “banned” by the president of the Punjab Congress Navjot Singh Sidhu.
Chugh said the way Sidhu had guided and accompanied the chairman of the minister and two deputy minister of the head, it was a clear indication that Sidhu would call a shot in Punjab and the entire cabinet would play the second violin.
The BJP leader said he was surprised by the way the minister of chairman and two major deputy ministers were being made to play a role subject under his arrogant presence.
Chugh asked all the President of the Indian Congress Committee (AICC) Sonia Gandhi and the Leader Party Rahul Gandhi if they had to make the minister’s chairman and his representatives in the hands of Sidhu, why the AICC high order did not appoint Sidhu as the main minister.
