The South Indian international film award, or SIIMA, has recently been held in the city of Hyderabad to respect the main artistic efforts of the South Indian film industry.
The sparkling affair was exhaled by many superstars from Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam with films from 2019 in this time, due to the cancellation of the previous year’s events.
And indeed, it was a special night for the Kannada film industry as Rakshit Shetty, Rachita Ram, Darshan, and many others pocketed the best award in SIIMA 2021.
While Rakshit Shetty impresses the critics for the depiction of Narayana in ‘Avane Srimannarayana’ to win the best actors in the main role – Critic award, star star ‘Kirik Party’ Rashmika Mandanna won the Critics award in the best actress category for her performance in ‘Yajan’
In the same vein, Darshan and Rachita RAM won awards for the best actors and actresses, respectively, in the jury category.
Darshan pocketed awards for his main role in ‘Yajamana’ and Rachita did the same for his role in P.

But it’s not because many worthy candidates from the Kannada film industry then win the correct award.
The Comedian Sadhu Teacher Kokila was recognized for his efforts in the film ‘Yajan’ while the Saikumar veteran actor was awarded the best actor in the negative role for his appearance in the film ‘Bharate’.

The award night proved to be very starred for the ‘Yajan’ team because it collected a total of eight awards from 12 different nominations.
