Sikkim, North Bengal received fresh snow

Gangtok / Jalpaiguri: Many parts of sikkim and northern Bengal side by side receive fresh snow, falling temperature throughout the Himalayas and Dooars region, the department said on Saturday.
Snowfall witnessed at reach of gangtok and its surroundings, the rubble and ravangla in southern Sikkim, Chewangbhanjyang, Okhray, Hillley and Barsey in West Sikkim and many areas in North Sikkim on Saturday and early.
Darjeeling, Chatakpur, Ghoom, Sandakphu and Phalut in the Darjeeling District of West Bengal, and lava in neighboring countries Kalimpong District also received snow.
Jalpaiguri Regency, Coochbehar and Alipurduar in the Dooars region receive rain coupled with cold winds.
The weather conditions are foggy and low visibility because they are forced by most people to live in the room, tourist restrictions from the plains that grow a hill to watch the snow.
“Weather changes are caused by Western disorders.
This situation is expected to increase from Saturday night and so on,” Gopinath Raha, Director of the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD), said Gangtok.
The minimum temperature in the gangtok is 1.7 degrees Celsius, while the Gangtok-Tadong station records a minimum temperature of 4.6 degrees Celsius, Weatherman said.
