Hyderabad: Given the Pandemic, the Indian School Certificate Council (CICSE) has made changes to the ICSE (class 10) and ISC (class 12) syllabus.
This step will affect almost 4,000 ICSE and ISC students in Hyderabad which will appear for the council exam in 2022.
CICSE released a revised syllabus of a total of 15 ICSE and 12 ISC subjects on Friday night.
This list includes the revision of the subject’s balabi such as chemistry, physics, biology etc.
for ICSE and accounts, trade, economics, business studies, history, ISC.
According to the City Principal, there has been no change in syllabus for physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics.
“Considering many students who appear for competitive exams such as Neet, there are no changes in four core subjects.
However, other subjects such as English, accounting, psychology etc.
already have several additions and removal,” said Maya Sukumaran, Senior Principal Gitanjali, Adding that the curriculum can be comfortably covered with efforts from all stakeholders.
In accordance with the analysis conducted by the subject teacher from various schools, the genetic topic issued by CICSE last year has been re-introduced for ICSE students this year.
In English, the number of dramas, the number of pros and poems have been revised for ICSE and ISC students.
“For ICSE students, the addition of wise has been done in physics.
The inclusion of electromagnetism is a good step because it must be studied in class 12 as well.
For trade and accounts, the syllabus continues to do extensive for an understanding of online despite reduction,” said Amrita Chandra, Deputy Principal of Public School Hyderabad, Begumpet.
Some sub-topics in psychology, economics, political science have diminished this year.
CICSE is now in the process of carrying out the reduction in syllabus in several other subjects that will soon be available on the website.
