Silver Pratihara and Sultanate-era coins are found near Jaipur

Jaipur: eighty-two coins from Pratihara (8-11 m) and the Sultanate period (12-15 m) have been found together from empty ponds in Jamwaramgarh near Jaipur.
The coins were found in soil pots seen by MGNREGA workers while digging the pond on Sunday.
Experts have concluded that the discovery of coins strengthened the historical importance of Jamwaramgarh as a developed city during the Amber kingdom in the sixteenth century.
