Gumla: Duo Musicians from Jharkhand’s Hockey Cradle, Simdega, have compiled and sang a motivational song titled ‘Khelenge Hockey Dilo Jaan Se’, which was released on YouTube on Wednesday, to maintain the morale of the national team and women high when they participated in the Tokyo Olympics.
Previously, the singer-cum-composers of Kanshilal Nayak and Jagarnath RAM had come out with songs dedicated to the players participating in the Women’s Hockey tournament in Simdega in March.
“At that time, we have compiled a song in Nagpuri and who inspired us to come out with the song in front of the Olympics to promote hockey when the match runs at the Vein of the SIMDEGA occupants.
We decided to write songs in Hindi so that players from other countries can understand it,” Kanshilal said.
President of Hockey Simdega, Manoj Konbegi, Laude their efforts and said, “All countries support our players who represent the nation at the Olympics.
For Simdega and, for Jharkhand, it is more important because our own players represent the country.

“This time, two players from Jharkhand – Nikki Pradhan (Khunti) and Salima Tete (Simdega) – are part of the women’s national team.
Each male and female team will face New Zealand and the Netherlands, on July 24.
