Simea can’t claim credit for the highway project, said Ramadas

MySuru: BJP MLA SA Ramadas has taken Mysuru MP Pratap Simea for his statement in Mysuru-Bengaluru 10 Lane Highway Project works.
The former minister said on Monday that no one had to claim credit for the project.
The credit belongs to the state because it is a taxpayer money invested, he said.
Simea caught fire from its own party leaders and opposition congresses for their claims that he applied the 10 lane highway.
Former HC Mahadevappa Congress Minister, BJP MLC Ah Vishwanath and Mandya MP Sumalata Ambaresh has criticized Simea for this statement in this matter.
Ramadas said that it was not true to say this project was carried out by anyone.
“This development work belongs to all.
In my constituency too, road repair work is taking place.
But I did not claim credit for them because they were taken by government institutions.
The same applies to national highways,” he said.
He explained that he was not a senior who could give advice to former Minister Ah Vishwanath for his anti-party statement.
“The state president will make a decision.
I did not react to his statement,” he said.
He advised his party colleagues to ensure Covid-19’s appropriate behavior when participating in the ongoing Janashirvada Yatra.
“Spreading Covid-19 is a sin.
I know how difficult it has it,” he said.
In the selection of majoral MACC, he said he would follow party instructions.
