New Delhi: Delhi received his first Monsoonal Shower 33 times in July in the last 62 years, according to the Ministry of India’s Meteorology.
The remaining time reached the capital in June.
Last year, IMD had revised the date of the arrival of the rainy season in Delhi from June 29 to June 27.

This year, Southwest Monsoon reached Delhi 16 days behind the schedule, making it the most delayed onset in 19 years.

The city has recorded the most delayed Monsoon’s arrival on July 26 in 1987.
While it arrived in Delhi on June 9, 1961.
At 20 times, the rainy season hugged the city on or before June 27.
Only four times since 1960 includes Delhi after July 13.
In 2002, Monsun arrived in Delhi on July 19.
In 1982 and 1991, the wind system carried out onset over Delhi on July 14, according to IMD data.
