Islamabad: Azown against a minority of women is now becoming common in Pakistan and according to data recently around 1,000 women owned by the Christian and Hindu communities are forced to convert to Islam every year.
Ashiknaz Khokhar, a human rights activist noted that the kidnapping of small girls from the religion of minority was common in Pakistan, reported the Greek city period.
“The government (Pakistan) did not take this problem seriously and the parliament recently refused to give a bill on forced repentance,” Khokhar said.
“Every year around 1,000 Christian and Hindu girls are forced to convert to Islam.
There is a terrible need for a dedicated law to protect minority girls.” Quoting another incident from Punjab Province Pakistan, publications reported that one Christian girl was kidnapped by a Muslim in Punjab Province Pakistan.
The 12-year-old Abbas Meerab was taken by Muhammad David and the native of Pakistan Balochistan Province, the city of Greece reported quoting the Asian news report.
The fate of women in Pakistan increased from day to day because new reports have stated that nearly 6,754 women were kidnapped in the Punjab province in the first half of 2021.
From it, 1890 women were raped, 3721 tortured while 752 children were raped, Duniya News reported.
On August 30, the Pakistani International Transparency Supervisory Board (TIP) expressed concern for the increasing attack on women in this country.
In Islamabad, there were nearly 34 official robbery incidents while 27 incidents were reported in the media.
The number of official incidents of violence recorded in Punjab is 3,721, but only 938 cases reported in the media, said Dunya News.
