New Delhi: Pakistani’s decision not to attend regional security dialogue in the Afghan crisis, organized by India on November 10, is very unfortunate but not surprisingly and reflects the mindset of Islamabad to see Afghanistan as a “protectorate”, official source said on Friday.
They said there had been “extraordinary responses” for Indian invitations for dialogue and Russia, Iran and almost all Central Asian countries have confirmed their participation at the NSA level meeting.
These sources said Pakistani comments on India about hosting dialogue were attempts that failed to suspend the attention of the “role role” in Afghanistan.
Pakistan NSA Moeed Yusuf on Tuesday put aside his participation on the dialogue and said: “I will not leave, a spoiler cannot be a fortune teller.” The sources said India sent invitations to China as well and the formal response was awaited.
The Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval took the initiative to hold a dialogue to discuss the overall security situation in Afghanistan and to tighten the collective approach after the arrest of Taliban power in the country on August 15.
Doval will serawa dialogue.
The two previous meetings in this format have been held in Iran in September 2018 and December 2019, said the source, adding the third meeting in India could not be held before because of a pandemic.
“There is a remarkable response to Indian invitations.
Central Asian countries and Russia and Iran have confirmed participation.
Enthusiastic response is a manifestation of the importance of inherent in the role of India in regional efforts to promote peace and security in Afghanistan,” said Source.
This is for the first time all Central Asian countries and not only Afghan direct neighbors participated in this format, said the source.
They said invitations for dialogue have been extended to China and Pakistan as well, and the formal response is awaited.
“However, Pakistan has indicated through the media that it will not be present.
Pakistan’s decision is very unfortunate, but it is not surprising.
It reflects his mindset at Afghanistan as its protectorate,” said the source.
“Pakistan has not attended the previous meeting of this format.
His medium’s comment on India was an effort that failed to defect attention from his destructive role in Afghanistan,” he said.
These sources said high-level participation in the next week’s meeting organized by India reflected concerns that were widespread and developed against regional countries about the situation in Afghanistan and their desire to consult and coordinate with each other.
India has an important role in this process, they said.
After the arrest of Taliban power, India has consistently marked concerns over the possibility of abundance of terrorist activities from Afghanistan to other countries in the region.
India also consistently maintains that important for the international community continues to demand the fulfillment of the objectives described in the resolution of the UN Security Council 2593 in Afghanistan.
The UNSC resolution, adopted on August 30 under the President of the Global Body of India, talked about the need to uphold human rights in Afghanistan, demanding that the Afghanistan region should not be used for terrorism and that negotiated political settlements must be found in the crisis.
