New Delhi: Pakistani’s decision not to attend regional security dialogue in the Afghan crisis, organized by India on November 10, is very unfortunate but not surprisingly and reflects the mindset of Islamabad to see Afghanistan as a “protectorate”, official source said on Friday.
They said there had been “extraordinary responses” for Indian invitations for dialogue and Russia, Iran and almost all Central Asian countries have confirmed their participation at the NSA level meeting.
These sources said Pakistani comments on India about hosting dialogue were attempts that failed to suspend the attention of the “role role” in Afghanistan.
Pakistan NSA Moeed Yusuf on Tuesday put aside his participation on the dialogue and said: “I will not leave, a spoiler cannot be a fortune teller.” The sources said India sent invitations to China as well and the formal response was awaited.
