Sis-in-law was arrested for burning women to death

Yavatmal: A 26-year-old woman, who was identified as Monica Ganesh Pawar from Datpadi Village in Mesapur Tehsil, died of burns on Sunday morning while undergoing medical treatment at Sevagram Hospital in Wardha.
Monica was allegedly burned by her brother-in-law, Kanta Sanjay Rathod (35), on July 8 on July 4, Monica gave birth to a girl, who was allegedly the reason behind the murder.
Pandarkawda Police have registered a violation under the 302 part of the IPC in the complaint submitted by Aunt Monica Asha Sunil Rathod (36), a resident of Bhambora Village, against the Kanta who was arrested on Monday.
According to the complainant, Monica married Ganesh Pawar six years ago.
The couple has a five-year-old son, Pravesh.
Kanta has returned to his parents after divorcing.
Monica and Kanta often move in verbal fighting, according to complaints that also mentioned that Monica had told her parents but they did not file police complaints.
On July 8, Monica went to her room after taking a shower when Kanta poured kerosene to her and burned it, the complainant had told the police.
Monica suffered 80% burn and hurry to Sevagram.
PSO Mahalle is conducting an investigation.
