NEW DELHI: Delhi deputy chief minister and older AAP pioneer Manish Sisodia on Monday sought a warning by the Ram temple hope within buying a parcel of property for its planned shrine at Ayodhya by it in an alleged inflated cost.
Terming it a”scam”, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief stated the temple has been constructed using contributions made by individuals and their hard-won cash shouldn’t be misused.
His comments came a day after AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh alleged that Champat Rai, general secretary of Shriram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, bought 1.208 hectares of property worth Rs two crore at Ayodhya’s Bag Bjaisi village for Rs 18.5 crore with the support of hope manhood Anil Mishra.
Terming it a case of money laundering,” Singh and Samajwadi Party leader Pawan Pandey searched a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Enforcement Directorate into the Subject.
Addressing a media conference in Delhi, Sisodia advocated that the trust to never play with people’s sentiments.
“The Ram Janmabhoomi Trust has bought a parcel of property in Ayodhya for Rs 18.5 crore.
It was offered for only Rs two crore five seconds until it was purchased by the Ram temple expect.
There’s really been a scam in buying this property for its pious work of constructing the Ram temple.
The Ram Janmabhoomi Trust must explain why the property was purchased at this high cost,” he explained.
“The temple has been constructed using contributions made by individuals and their thoughts are connected to it.
My request to them (Ram temple hope ) is just they shouldn’t play with the thoughts of the folks who contributed their hard-earned cash for your temple,” he explained.
Singh, who was present in the media conference, asserted Anil Mishra, Obligations of the Ram temple hope, also Rishikesh Upadhyay, mayor of Ayodhya, were found throughout the finalisation of the sale arrangements.
Trust entire secretary Rai has firmly refuted the allegations.
In a declaration issued Sunday, Rai had stated,”Allegations of assassinating Mahatma Gandhi were levelled against us.
We don’t fear allegations.
I’ll analyze the allegations levelled against us probe them.”
