Kanpur: The Director General (DG) CB-Cid Gl Meena, accompanied by ADG Zone Bhanu Bhaskar, arrived at the house of the circuit to investigate viral videos relating to senior officers IAS Mohamharuddin on Wednesday.
Two senior police officers have been appointed as members of the Special Investigation Team (sitting) formed by the state government on Tuesday in connection with this case.
Talking to reporters, Meena said that he had received several videos from the media and had begun to investigate the charges against IAS officers.
“We have also searched for input from the commissioner’s police, and a report will be submitted in the time determined by the government,” Meena said further.
To remember, the state government on Tuesday ordered an investigation by sitting into a video that became viral on social media where senior official IAS Mohammad Iftikharuddin was currently posted as Chair of the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC), seen told people .

The video was said to be a religious event that occurred when IAS officers posted as Commissioner Division, Kanpur.
The intended video also displays religious leaders sitting next to the IAS officer.
In other videos, iftikharuddin was seen sitting on the ground while a Muslim speaker was said to give a radical lesson at his residence.
