Sindri: Following orders from the Jharkhand High Court, the State Police on Thursday is a special (sitting) investigation team led by ADGP (Operations) Sanjay Anand Lahar to investigate the “murder” Additional District Judge Dhanbad (VIII) Uttam Anand on Wednesday morning but Police Dhanbad maintained the silence learned about investigations so far.
Overcoming the media, SSP (Dhanbad) Sanjiv Kumar informed that they had submitted murder under 302 IPC based on written complaints submitted by Ananad’s wife Kriti Sinha, “We have confiscated an autorickshaw from the judge behind while he jog on the side of the road on Wednesday morning .
Auto rickshaws traced to Mangrudih under district Mufassil PS Giridih on Wednesday night and two people including the driver Lakhan Verma and his henchmen Rahul Verma, who is said to be sitting in the middle seat car, has been arrested.
They are resident Digwadih and Jorapokhar of Dhanbad.
” The SSP, however, refused to record the details of the postmortem report and the findings of investigations so far, saying that scientific investigations on cases by the forensic team are ongoing and the police will share details only after getting some concrete evidence.
When asked whether it was an accident case or murder, SSP said they were investigating cases from different angles and that he was not in a position to say anything about this problem convincingly.
At the query on the date and time theft of the autorickshaw involved in Anand’s murder, the SSP said they got different information in this matter and had directed police officers to find out the truth behind it.
“So far, what we know is that there are cases of old cellular theft towards Lakhan Verma and the police are looking for criminal antecedents,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court Bar Association, the Jharkhand High Court and Dhanbad High Court demanded the CBI probe into the case when the deceased heard several sensitive cases of coal.
It is possible that CCTV recording, which became viral, showed anand jogging along the road near Randhir Verma Chowk, a luxury area in Dhanbad, around 5am on Wednesday, when the autorickshaw rose from behind and was hit.
