Hyderabad: In a tragic accident, six teenagers who went to shower on the river at Sircilla sank after wading too far into the water.
Five bodies have been taken while swimmers look for the sixth child.
Children are between 13 and 16 years old.
The incident occurred on Monday after a group of boys from the Rajiv Nagar area in the city went to the river after attending Dairand School.
“After the event, around 1:30 a.m.
nine students went to Sirkar,” said Sircilla Rural Ci B upender, adding that while two sitting on the banks of the river, seven others went to the water.
“When bathing, six sinks as they go to a deeper part of the river.
A young man, Akhil, managed to get out of the water,” Ci said.
On Monday, the police had taken Ganesh’s 13 year old body.
While on Tuesday, the body of four other students, Venkatasai (14), Rakesh (12), Ajay (13), and Kranthi Kumar (14), was provoked.
“We are still looking for a 16-year-old Manoj body.
Parents of all children are Powerloom workers,” Ci said.
