Six civilians killed by roadside bomb in Afghanistan

KANDAHAR: At least two people were killed Thursday after a roadside bomb struck his vehicle in Afghanistan’s southern Helmand province, officials explained, the most recent violence in an area that’s seen months of severe fighting. Helmand’s deputy governor Baryalai Nazari told AFP that girls and children were killed in the explosion, at the provincial capital Lashkar Gah. Attaullah Afghan, mind of Helmand provincial council, supported the cost. No group has claimed responsibility, however, also the Taliban and Afghan government forces battle frequently over the outskirts of Lashkar Gah — frequently because May 1, if the United States started the last stage of its troop withdrawal.
