Bengaluru: Six Karnataka County has been inoculating more than 90% of the population that qualifies with the first dose of covid vaccines.
Bengaluru Urban Regency (exclusive BBMP) has achieved the highest coverage (118%) on October 23, followed by Kodagu (96%), Udupi (92%), Ramanagara and Uttara Kannada (91%) and Hassan (90%)), according to data.
While the average country coverage of the first dose was 85%, 16 districts had fixed it.
Bengaluru of the countryside has been carried out as well as the country, but 14 other districts must catch up.
Kalaburagi has reached the least coverage – only 69% of the qualified population has been affixed to the first dose so far.
The Ministry of Health and the Family of the country has started a house survey to the house to identify unvaccinated.
Although the data of state war space said that four districts – Bengaluru Urban, Kodagu, Udupi and Ramanagara – have crossed the coverage of 100% of the first dose, the health department data is different from it.
“There seems to be a data incompatibility.
The target has been revised by the center.
Only Bengaluru Urban has crossed the coverage of 100% of the targeted population estimated based on the 2011 Census data,” said Dr.
Arundhathi Chandrashekar, Mission Director, National Health Mission, Karnataka.
He said the overall target for the country recently changed by the center of 4.9 crore to 4.8 crore and hence, the target set for the district has also been revised.
‘The reason the population is floating for the target that exceeds’ in accordance with Arundhathi, a floating population in the Bengaluru urban district is the main reason for vaccination data that shows the target that exceeds.
However, the first dose is still managed in the district – the number for Saturday is 1,789.
Reply to Tii’s request, D Randeep, the Department of Commissioners, Health and Family Welfare, said several hospitals such as Narayana Hrudalaya, located in Urban Regency Bengaluru held a vaccination camp in the city of Bengaluru.
“All these vaccinations are taken into account in the Bengaluru urban district,” said Randeep.
Although the coverage of the first dose vaccination within the BBMP limit is 87%, the actual amount can be greater, official said.
Many Bengalurea people have been borne under Bengaluru urban districts, they added.
Bengaluru City has provided the highest number of highest doses – 79.3 lakh – from a population that meets the targeted 91 Lakh requirements.
Great concerns before the district that has crossed the coverage of 90% now is to find people who are not vaccinated to reach the target of 100%.
“Until we reached 85%, it was not too difficult because we reached out to the public with inventory activities and consciousness also helped.
But it became difficult to find that was not vaccinated after we touched 96%.
We have conducted a survey to find out who hasn’t taken it out Vaccines, “said Dr.
Gopinath S, Reproduction and Child Health Officers (RCHO) and Inch Covid Vaccination in Kodagu Regency.
There are a few examples, especially in the tribal area, where the vaccine refusal is visible.
“A middle-aged man refused to be pasted even though some officers explained the benefits of the vaccine.
All of his family members have been pasted.
Even though this might be the case of OneOff, some who have a KINDU as address in the Aadhaar card they don’t stay here and may have accessed the vaccine where they live , “said Dr.
Gopinath, explained the challenge in achieving 100% coverage.
