Six families die in sleep because of the exhaust smoke of the generator

Chandrapur: Six people from one family died while someone struggled for life after accidentally inhaled the exhaust smoke from the generator in their sleep in Durgapur Village, on the outskirts of Chandrapur, on Monday night.
The deceased includes two children and a newly married couple.
The source at the scene told the Lashkare family, led by Ramesh Lashkare contractors, living in Ward no.
3 from Durgapur.
Being a rainy season, the power supply in the area is disturbed one night.
It is assumed, Ramesh Lashkare started a gasoline-fueled electric generator to get a power supply, and the whole family consisting of seven members of sleep peacefully.
As the only door and all windows at home are closed, exhaust gas consisting of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide emitted by generators that accumulate at home.
All family members are limp because of exhaust gas and six of them die in their sleep.
The problem was revealed when there were no family members who came out of the house until the morning late.
The neighbors tried to wake Lashares but no one responded from inside.
The neighbor in question broke the door open and was surprised to find the whole house filled with poisonous smoke from the disposal of the generator.
All family members lie down where they sleep.
Neighbors who were worried immediately told Durgapur police and Pi Swapnil Dhule rushed to the place with his team.
The police immediately moved all family members to the hospital, where six of them were declared dead.
The deceased included Ramesh Lashkare (45), his newly married son, Ajay Lashkare (20), wife of Ajay Madhuri Lashkare (20), Lakhan Lashkare (10), Krushna Lashkare (14) and Puja Lashkare (14).
The wife of Ramesh Dasu (40) but survived the disaster and was treated in a private hospital.
However, he then shifted to the ICU in a civil hospital in Chandrapur because his condition was very important.
Neighbors said that Ramesh Lashkare married only 10 days ago and a newly married couple surrendered to toxic gas in the incident.
Pi Dhule confirmed six deaths and said that they all seemed to have died of inhaling poisonous exhaust smoke emitted from the generator.
“All ventilation at home is closed causing gas accumulation,” he said.
