Six injuries in the fight on parking in Northeast Delhi

New Delhi: Six men were injured after two families clashed over the problem related to parking at Jyoti Nagar Northeast Delhi on Monday night.
The police have registered two separate cases based on complaints received from each group and investigating the incident.
The senior police officer said that there was no communal angle behind a fight.
According to the police, the fight was reported at around 9pm.
When he reached the place, they found that two families – Om Parkash (70) and his two sons and Shahnawaj (46) and his two sons – who were neighbors in Jyoti Nagar fought with vehicle parking on the road.
“The six men suffered injuries in clashes and had to be taken to the hospital.
Both parties gave complaints to the police based on two separate firmly registered to investigate the attack.
Witness statements and other family members from these people are being recorded to find out more,” said a senior police officer.
The police are also checking CCTV recordings from the area to set the incident sequence.
“The initial probe has revealed that the problem is not communal and that the fight has started a problem related to parking.
The police have ensured adequate deployment in the area to ensure that laws and order are maintained.”
