The defendant was involved in a series of violations including the massacre of cattle, attacking the police, issuing threats, among others.
Registered violations after police gathered details of violations registered against the defendant over the past decade.
They were then ordered under Gujcoc after permission from Panchmahal Godhra Range Inspector General Police.

Khatana said that six defendants were arrested with many difficulties.
“We have to send around 100 personnel to arrest them.
There are some resistance from the area where they used to live,” he added.
