Varanasi: Three women and three children, all of the same family, was feared to sink when a boat was reversed on the Ganga River near Akhada Ghat under the Vindhyachal police station in the Mirzapur district on Wednesday.
The police then involves divers with nets to find lost women and children.

He accused that the boatman said that there was no problem that would be faced in crossing the river despite the rain.
However, when the boat reached the middle water began to seep on the boat and the boat was upside down.
Police said that in addition to Tiwari, Vikas (28), Deepak (27), ALKA (9), Ritika (7) and their drivers were saved by people and boats present near Ghat.
However, Gudia (28), Khushbu (30), Anisha (26), Satyam (5), a two-year-old girl and a three-month-old girl was drowned.
Busy efforts are being carried out to find women and children who are lost but because of strong currents in the river flow, the problem is being faced in search operations.
