Six punished by bomb bid on Puducherry

PUDUCHERRY: Special Court in Puducherry on Friday sentenced six activists from the Tamil Nationalist group to plant a strong bomb near the house of the former Minister of V Narayanasamy.
Head of Judge Puducherry J Selvanadhan, who handled the case ordered by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), sentenced five activists from Tamilar Viduthalai Dii – R Thiruselvam, 33, his brother R Kalai Lingam, 37, Kaviarasu aka Aadhi alias Jeeva and John Martin aka Ilanthanal – Up to seven years in prison and Mamaranan alias Thangaraj, 38, up to five years in prison.
The judge also slapped the fine of RS 3,000 at Thiruselvam and each RS 3,500 in the other five.
According to the prosecution, one of Narayanasamy’s employees found a bomb under a car parked in front of Narayanasamy’s house on January 29, 2014.
The police team reached the place with bomb disposal forces and removed the explosion.

The bomb contains Gelx, explosive.
It has 21 electrical detonators and 12 non-electric detonators.
Police investigation showed that the bomb was strong and if it blew up, it would cause loss of life and property.
The police registered a case below Section 120-B (punishment for a criminal conspiracy) of the Indian criminal code, part 3 (punishment because it caused an explosion that tended to endanger life or property) and 4 (punishment for efforts to cause explosions, or to keep explosives With the intention to endanger life or property) of the laws and parts of explosive substances 16 (punishment for terrorist actions), 18 (punishment for conspiracy) and 20 (punishment for becoming a member of a gang or terrorist organization) of the action of activity (prevention) breaking the law.
Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu police restored similar bombs near the Supermarket Reliansi in Uthangudi in Madurai on February 11, 2014.
Tamil Nadu Q branch captured four activists from Tamilar Viduthalai on March 2014 in connection with the Madurai incident.
Their arrest caused two arrests involved in evil.
