Jaipur: Congress has not resolved the problem in Punjab and fresh problems have appeared in Rajasthan.
Four of the six BSP congress legislators from the country have reached New Delhi to seek ‘legal and political’ support to save their assembly membership challenged before the Supreme Court under the anti-defection law.
BSP and BJP challenged Six Mla’s membership in front of the APEX court and the Rajasthan High Court as soon as the Sachin pilot rebelled against the leadership of CM Ashok Gehlot last year.
The APEX court on September 21 directed six MLA to submit their defense within four weeks, which had encouraged them to do a scamper to support.
If Six loses their membership, Congress will be reduced to 100 seats at home 200 members.
The pilot camp support will be more important for the stability of the Ashok Gehlot-government in the possibility.
There are 71 BJP MLA and 13 independent, other than others, in the State Assembly.
Two empty seats, which are Bypolls are scheduled for October 30.
The legislators, the merger to the Congress regulated by Gehlot in 2019, was said to be annoyed with the Central Congress and State Leadership instead of “strong legal support” the court or accommodated them in the government.
There are news reports that they are now ready to seek political support outside the congress as well.
Mandatory Ali, one of the four MLA camping in Delhi, however, denied reports on seeking political support elsewhere.
MLA Joglinder Singh Awana, who along with Mla Deepchand Khia, has lived in Rajasthan, told the media in Jaipur that he did not realize the four colleagues planned to meet Supremo Supremo or BJP leader Amit Shah.
“We again received the SC notification requesting a reply in four weeks recently, so maybe my colleague was a little disturbed.
We joined Congress after following all legal procedures and will remain with him.
Congress has a strong legal team to maintain our case in the APEX court , “Awana said, after meeting Gehlot.
Awana is likely to join four mlaz-mandatory Ali, Rajendra Singh Gudha, Lakhan Singh and Sandeep Yadav-in Delhi immediately.
The fourth MLA met with senior lawyer Devdutt Kamat in Delhi on Thursday.
State President BSP Bhagwan Singh Baba, who transferred the petition before the upper field, told Tii, “We will not accept it at the party at any cost.
They have deceived us twice.
The six will lose their membership; we have faith in court.
“Pratap Transport Minister Singh Khachariya, dismissed the report that six MLA was seeking political support outside the Congress because they were disappointed to be ‘neglected’.
“Sixth is now an integral part of Congress and there is no threat to their membership.
We will not allow injustice to them,” Minister said.
Khachariyawas claimed there was no threat to the stability of the Congress Government in Rajasthan.
