Vadodara: City police arrested six people in connection with the 1.15crore RS break-in that occurred in the Reliance industry in the city last month.
The expensive engine parts were stolen from the company’s warehouse by the defendant.
Material worth RS 1.15 Crore is stolen around before December 3.
This includes parts made of tungsten carbide, bronze and others.
A violation was registered at the Jawaharnagar Police Station.
Jawaharnagar Police Inspector S Anan said that the investigation into the incident focused on buyers who would be interested in stolen goods.
“We identified the defendants through those they had approached to sell material,” he said.
Police hold Ranjit Padhiar, Rajendra Gehil, Vijay Gehil, Ashok Gohil, Ranjitsinh Gehil and Suresh Padhiar.
All accused of being villagers and regions around the factory.
The police recovered two plungers worth RS 52.14 lakh from the defendant.
It is made of tungsten carbide and hence valuable.
