Thane: The Crime Thane branch has arrested six people and claimed to have broken the call center operating from the mall located in the Kapurbawdi City area and targeting American citizens and allegedly extracted thousands of dollars every day.
Those who were arrested were identified as Pankaj Jha, 32, Prashant Phatak, 42, Ram Nimbalkar, 35, Mohammad Ansari, 27, Siraj Hasmi, 39 and Kamran Shaikh, 26, said Commissioner of Ashok Moral (crime).
The operational call center for more than three months, and was accused of major in ongoing crimes from Kolkata in general and the police had distributed Dragnet to arrest him.
Acting on information, the detective invaded the place in the mall on Tuesday and captured six of the key charges.
“The Raiding team witnessed the call center operating in a full swing to the US Time Zone,” Informed Toi Informed Toi.
Explain modus operandi, moral information, “the defendant clogged the number of one of their hands-based and they were used to send explosion messages to victims in the US which told them about USD 399 transactions carried out through various applications and asked them to contact them The central call if they don’t make such a transaction.

Violations were registered at the Kapurbawdi Police Station on Tuesday examined by anti-extortion cell officials from the Thane crime branch.
