Gurgaon: When the temperature continues to soar, the population of BPTP Astaire Garden in Sector 70A complains of frequent power cuts and voltage fluctuations that have occurred in the community for the past few days.
What adds to their problems is their dependence on the power reserves they have combat between Rs 27 and Rs 32 per unit.
The population shows that the community does not have a permanent electrical connection and strength is being supplied from a joint 11kv feeder line from Ghata in sector 56.
The population accuses that they should get a permanent connection from the 220KV GIS substation in sector 69 but the work develops with the speed of the snail.
“This power is supplied from sector 56 which is 20 km from our community.
We continue to face blackouts because of errors that often occur in cables and transformers.
Also a discom requires a lot of time to overcome this problem.
We have faced some power outages at least 8-10 Times a day that stretches from 4 to 8 hours regularly.

Residents also complained that because of the voltage fluctuations in their household appliances were damaged.
More than 550 families are in the colony.
“In the last two days, a few blocks faced a total blackout because it didn’t work in the set.
For the past six years, we have been waiting for a permanent connection but also developers and discoms do not want to overcome our concerns permanently even though there are some representations,” said Debojit Hooray, Secretary General of Rwa.
“The electricity infrastructure at Astaire Gardens is ready but the DHBVN eating substation is still not assigned to the 69 sector,” said Rohit Mohan, Senior VP, BPTP Ltd.
Meanwhile, Haryana Nigam Vidyut (HVPN) has set a target to complete the 220KV GIS substation in August this year.
