SRINAGAR: Around 70 students and officials in the Ski expedition at Gulmarg held by the Jamamu and Kashmir Youth Services and Sports (YSS) were tested by Covid Positive on Thursday.
A YSS department official, who is also part of the expedition, said that around 120 students and officials participated in the ski expedition at Gulmarg and around 70 of them were tested positive for Covid-19.
He said that according to the student protocol was asked to send to their RT-PCR test before the expedition and all were tested negatively.
“Later, a quick antigen test is also done which also comes negatively,” the official said.
Tourism Director G N ITOO said that they were positively isolated and the right soup was being followed.
“No need to worry because all positive children don’t show symptoms and are fine,” the official said.
