‘SKM leadership cannot avoid responsibility’

Gurgaon: Deputy Minister of Haryana Dushyant Chautala said on Saturday farmer organizations and their leaders could not escape the accountability of the “savage murder” of a man on the Singhu border, one of the main sites agitation of the central agriculture laws they have committed prominently.
“Leadership must be responsible,” Chautala said, trying to put Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), grouping 40 agricultural unions who had organized protests at the Delhi border since last November, under pressure.
Chautala, who has been the main political target of protests in Haryana because of its alique with BJP, said, “If some Malang incidents occur in a program organized by the Department, organization or protest movement, then the responsibility of the incident lies in the committee and its leadership.”
