Rohtak: Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) attacked the BJP Government in Haryana for the use of the University campus for political activities.
Speaking at Tikri’s border, SKM leader Inderjit Singh urged the entire university community to fight BJP’s efforts to “saffronise” of higher education centers.
He said after Gju Aperah on Saturday, BJP leaders held a party executive meeting on the CDLU Campus in Sanda, where they had to face rigid resistance from protesting farmers.
SKM also condemned BJP leaders for allegedly making obscene movements in the protest of female farmers in GJU Risah Gate number 3 from a car occupied by the Hansi MLA and former Minister Munish Grover.
He said that the police had not registered a case even though farmers archived written complaints.
SKM said it would not allow the University campus to be converted to the BJP Party Fiefdom and will arrange peace protests to stop them from “abuse of academic institutions.”
