SKM suspended Key Farm Neta Charuni for ‘Punjab mission’

Written by news2in

Bathinda / Kurukshetra: Taking serious records of efforts by Gurnam Singh Charuni, President of Agricultural Organization Haryanabased BKU (Charuni), to encourage the struggle of agriculture into political mode, Sanyucta Kisan Morcha (SKM) on Wednesday suspended him for a week.
He has been warned not to say something as opposed to Morcha stands and will not be allowed to overcome the meeting from the SKM stage.
Charuni has repeatedly asked the leaders of the Punjab-based farmers to jump to the political arena, saying that there is a terrible need to advance the ‘punjab mission’ while ‘rising mission’ can wait.
32 Agricultural organizations in Punjab, at a meeting on Tuesday, opposed the agenda in a voice, preparing land to act against it.
Charuni, however, said he was standing firm in his position but would live with SKM and continue to contribute with a new spirit.
“Sanyucta Morcha has taken action on my statement even though there is no majority decision about this,” he said.
“They may have different ideologies.
But suspending someone is based on his ideological stand,” he added.
