New Delhi: Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) on Tuesday said they would observe the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh dijwas on Wednesday to mark the leader of the farmer, Sir Chhottu Ram’s Recn.
The Body Umbrella Farmers protested three central agricultural laws, in a statement, also said that several leaders would join ‘Maha Dharna’ in Hyderabad on November 25 to mark the first warning of farmers’ protests on the Delhi border on the Delhi border.
It is said that the Indian Diaspora will arrange events in the UK, USA, France, Austria, Australia, Canada and the Netherlands on Friday to support farmer protests.
Sir Chhottu Ram, born on November 24, 1881, is considered a farmer’s Messiah and plays an important role in empowering farmers in the pre-independence era and obtaining pro-farmer laws imposed.
He has struggled for farmers’ rights during the British government.
Although the announcement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi revoke three Agri laws, farmers’ leaders have defended they will not move until the law is officially revoked in parliament.
They also indicate stirring for MSP legal guarantees and the withdrawal of electricity amendment bills will continue.
SKM on Monday wrote an open letter to the prime minister who presented six of their demands, including the law that guarantees the minimum support price (MSP) for all farmers, and asked the resumption of talks with the government.
