Pune: Shiv Sena Workers and Supporters on Tuesday reacted with anger in various parts of Maharashtra over the Union Minister Narayan Rane accusing a comment of insults against the State Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
Rane has made a statement while speaking to reporters in Conka on Monday during Jan Ashirwad Yatra on Monday night, police Chathrungi at Pune registered a shot towards Rane over Rane.
Some protesters threw stones at the mall in the Gymkhana DECCAN area where Rane was believed to have a bet.
The glass panel was broken in the incident.
“No one was injured,” Senior Inspector of Police DECCAN Gymkhana, Murlidhar Karpe, said.
“Some Sena workers held agitations on the success of Chowk before the incident at the mall.
We have made arrangements in the FCC Road and JM Road entrance .
The mall manager said, “There is no one in the area where the stone crashes into a glass panel.
We will not file a complaint at the police station.” A large number of BJP workers gathered in front of the mall and raised the slogan against Shiv Sena.
The Commissioner of Pune Policy Amitabh Gupta said, “prohibiting the DECCAN incident, there was no unward incident reported.” Pune rustic supervisor of Police Abhinav Deshmukh said, “Sena members submitted a complaint application with many police stations.
We accept this request.
There are no UNWARD incidents reported in rural areas”.
In Nashik, Shiv Sena workers and BJP threw stones and tried to charge each other in the Shalimar area.
Smoked business shops and outlets and traffic are affected.
The police detained eight workers from both parties.
In Kolhapur, Sena workers burned Rane’s effigion at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk.
Party youth workers blocked the national highway Pune-Bengaluru outside the city of Kolhapur for about 10-15 minutes.
In Sangli and Solapur City, Sena workers fought a demonstration.
Aurangabad and other parts of Marathwada also witnessed protests by Sena supporters.
BJP held counter-protests at Aurangabad.
