Ahmedabad: A small fire erupted in the room near the OPD civil hospital here on Wednesday afternoon and no one was injured in the incident, officials said.
Blaze was triggered by short circuit, they said.
“Before the fire department reached the place, the hospital staff poured fire using a fire extinguisher,” said an AHMedabad API official and an emergency service control room.
Dr.
Rakesh Joshi’s civil supervisor said that no one was injured in the incident.
“There are some sparks on the wire, not fire, in the room close to the department of outdoor patients (OPD).
It was controlled in a few minutes with our staff.
No patient was evacuated in the incident.
Electricity is also.
Electricity restored in 20 minutes, “Joshi said.
