Mumbai: Jana Small Finance Bank on Thursday appointed former Indian Insurance Rules and Development Authority (Irdai) Chair of Subhash C Khuntia as part-time chairman.
The 1981-batch IAS officer was Secretary of the Head of the Karnataka Government, and the Secretary in the Central School Education Department.
“Financial inclusion is always dear with my heart and I am happy with the opportunity to work with the Board and Management Team in Jana in their efforts to this noble cause,” Khuntia said.
Jana Small Finance Bank proposed an initial public offering (IPO) and has submitted a Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with a market regulator of Sebi.
