Noida: Two sisters, aged 9 and 12 years, died in a broken fire on Monday at a five-story building in Noida apparently due to short circuit, police officials said.
Blaze broke around 5:30 a.m.

The fire broke on the ground floor of the building in Garhi Chaukhandi Village, forcing the evacuation of all residents, he said.
Some residents who were trapped in the fire were treated at the nearest hospital, he added.
“Prima facie, fire was triggered by short circuit on the main electricity council that was located on the ground floor,” said Aggarwal.
“The Dinesh Solanki family lives on the ground floor of the building.
His two daughters died in the incident,” the officer said.
Others living on the upper floors of the building were evacuated with the help of fire brigades and neighbors, he said.
