Athens: A small private plane crashed into the sea outside the Sea Island of East Aegean Greece Samos Monday night, killing the two people, said the Greek coast guard.
State ert TV said the victims were a man and a woman from Israel who had planned to visit the island.
There is no information about their identity.
The coast guard said aircraft debris was found to follow the search and rescue operations involving patrol vessels and fishing boats.
