Small rape murder: 4 sent to police detention

New Delhi: Delhi Court on Monday sent a priest and three others, was arrested for alleged rape and murder of a nine-year-old girl near Delhi Cantonment in Delhi South-West earlier this month, becoming a police custody of three days.
Additional session Judge Ashutosh Kumar handed over charges to the police after that said their custodian interrogation was needed because certain new information had become his knowledge.
All defendants were produced in front of the court of justice custody through video conferencing.
The four accusers were identified as Radhey Shyam, the 55-year-old priest of the crematorium, and three employees – Salim, Laxmi Narayan and Kuldeep – all of which were known as the girl, police said.
In an application moved before the court, the branch of Delhi police crime was seeking 5 days of detention accused of facing them to witnesses and evidence.
According to prosecution, the little girl was raped, killed and then cremated without the approval of her parents.
This kasing was recently transferred to the crime branch.
Delhi police registered a case against four accused based on the statement of Mrs.

People accused of being ordered under 302 (murder), 376 (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of Indian Criminal Code, along with relevant parts of children’s protection of sexual violations (Pocso) ACT and SC / St Act.
(The identity of the victim has not been revealed to protect its privacy according to the direction of the Supreme Court about cases related to sexual violence)
