Chennai: ‘Smart kiosk’ purchased at a large cost and distributed to vendors on Marina Beach has been damaged and lying three on the whole beach.
According to sources in City Corporation, the Mafia vendor who opposes the project has defeated the purpose of the scheme by first rejecting their allotment, and then it does not allow the vendor given to have a kiosk.
Government changes and non-monitoring by the High Court are useful for coastal mafia, which has now occupied sand randomly and continues to pollute the beach with solid waste and used oil.
The Marina Beach regulation scheme itself has been wrong after Madras High Court stops monitoring it based on days.
Hundreds of smart kiosks are circumcised and allocated for vendors based on high court orders with public money rot for months in the open on the beach.
