Jaipur: Rajasthan has secured the first place in 36 states and the Union (UTS) area under the mission of City City.
This was announced by the Ministry of UDH Shanti Dhariwal on Thursday.
Ranked 100 cities in the country, Udaipur came fifth, City 10, Ajmer 22nd and Jaipur 28.
Under the City Smart scheme, the work of new public utilities began in cities such as Jaipur, Udaipur, Ajmer and the City by consulting with public representatives accordingly with City City guidelines.
“Time-bound job implementation, based on critical pathways and evaluation techniques and program review (CPM-PERT), has been carried out and works effectively monitored.
The rate of development work has been maintained even during the pandemic period.
As a result, residents can get the desired benefits and Rajasthan has been able to get the first place in this country, “Dhariwal said.
The country has taken the first position of defeating Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat.
Ranking is based on project implementation, financial progress is made, the utilization of funds received and provide information to the center of time.
Under the mission, the project worth RS 3,811 Crore has been planned.
So far, RS 1,997 Crore has been accepted for projects in four cities, among others, and a number of 1,700 crore rs have been spent on various projects.
Against the total number, RS 1,078 Crore has been released by the center, with the state providing Rs 660 Crore for the same thing.
About 161 works, worth RS 718 Crore for 370 projects in four cities, has been completed.
And 168 works worth RS 2,660 crores are underway and 24 worth of RS 269 Crore are in process.
Work orders from those who are being processed will soon be released.
The work that must be done under the mission of smart city in this country mainly includes the expansion of medical and sports facilities, water supply, solid waste management, citizenship education, working for public needs and strengthening urban infrastructure.
