New Delhi: Photo-Messaging Snapchat app has launched a new feature called a layer.
This is a special experience available from certain partners and from an instantly personalized for Snapchatters.
Messaging applications now offer two experiences belonging to snap – memory and explore the layer feature.
When the year ends, the Messaging photo application places Snapchats memories on their snap map.
With this feature, users allow them to revisit their favorite moments, pegged to places where they occur.
It’s interesting to note that this layer feature will only display your own memories and you can’t see the memories of your friends on your snap map.
On the other hand, the Explore feature is a Reimagined viewpoint on the snap map built in the Signature Heat Map.explore makes it easy for the community to experience other places of photos and videos sent from Snapchatters throughout the world.
In this first iteration, Snapchatters will be able to switch between layers to adjust the landscape, so that they can always see exactly what they are looking for – whether they are interested in looking back, or just looking around.
Recently, Snapchat announced that the monthly user base has reached 100 million in this country.
Snap Inc., the Snapchat parent company, almost hosted the second edition of ‘Snap In India’.
At the event, the Snap Co-Founder and CEO Evan Spiegel announced a historical milestone reaching 100 million snapchatters every month in India.
The Snapchat application allows users to share photos with friends, and offer filters and lenses that are activated augmented reality.
