Ludhiana: The police arrested a Jatcher after him, along with his accomplice, grabbed a wallet from a woman in the Ghumar bath.
While the defendant was arrested by a passer, his accomplice managed to escape.
The defendant who was arrested was identified as Lovepreet Singh from Sangedi in Sangrrur Regency.
The complainant, Kumar Ashish from Prem Nagar, said that he, together with his friend, Aswinder Singh, had gone to the Ghumar bath on Wednesday.
When they reached near the Madhok complex at Ghumar Bath at 1:15 a.m., a woman walked with her.
The complainant said that in the meantime, one of the criminals on a motorcycle appeared from behind, grabbed the woman’s wallet and began to escape.
However, Lovepree caught Snatcher with the help of others.
Police said that people published the defendant before calling the police.
Other abuse managed to escape.
Police from the Division number eight police station reached the place and began an investigation.
The police then posted the defendant to grab.
