Mumbai: A principal from the Architectural College of Nagpur, Ujwala Chakradeo, 59, was appointed as Deputy Chancellor of the New University of Women SNDT by the Governor of State of Bhagat Singh Koshyari on Saturday.
Chakradeo replaced Shashikala Wanjari, which troubled ended on July 2.
Deputy Chancellor of Mumbai University Suhas Pednekar holds an additional fee since then.
Chakradeo is the principal of the SMT Manoramabai Mundle College of Architecture School in Nagpur.
He was appointed as representatives of Chancellor for five years from the date he assumed the office.

Toi, Chakradeo said that he would continue the intimidation that his predecessor began.
“I want to continue the good work that has been done at the university.
In the long run, I want to integrate more curriculum with technology.
It has happened,” he said.
He also intends to add more skills development courses.
The University has tried to find a central university status for some time.
Chakradeo said that he would also work towards him.
He began as a lecturer at Lad College Nagpur in 1985.
And then served as a professor and principal at the SMT Manoramabai Mundle College of Architecture.
He obtained M technology in urban planning and PhD in architectural education.
