Kanpur: SNK Day and Night T-20 Cricket Tournaments will be held at the Gem Stadium from February 27 to March 28.
According to members of the Mohd Ahmad organizing committee, 16 teams will participate in the tournament.
The committee claimed that they had so far received confirmation from eight teams.
The entry will be accepted on February 17 with the cost of RS 20,000 tokens and the remaining costs have been stored by February 20.
He said this would be the day and the first night cricket tournament in the city to be played for a month under the spotlight.
Participating teams will be divided into two ponds and will play league matches.
The four main teams from each pool will be eligible for the knock-out phase, said Ahmad.
“The winner of the tournament will be richer by the One Lakh Hospital while the runner-up team will get a wallet of Rs 50,000.
Batsman and Bowler and the Best Man of the Match Award will also be given to the players.
Apart from that, there will be some surprise awards too”, He added.
Each team will consist of 20 players and the format will — 12 players 30 years or more, 6 players under 30 years and 2 players or more.
The 11 member squad will consist of 7 players over 30 years, 3 players under 30 years, and one 40 years or more players.
The team will have the freedom to make their team full of 30+ or ​​40 players, said other coordinators and organizers nihal Ahmad.He said the match would be played in color and white ball dresses.
