Snowfall blocked 667 roads in Himachal Pradesh

Shimla: Snowfall Heavy Heavy overnight has thrown a normal life of the equipment in Shimla along with other areas in Himachal Pradesh.
Shimla Town records 1ft snowfaal, chail 1.4ft, 3 inches, 10 inch barog and 9-inch dagshai.
In all states, 667 roads are blocked while 171 water supply schemes and 1,486 power distribution transformers have been disrupted.
Because of the slippery road conditions, Himachal Pradesh police have asked people to avoid unnecessary trips.
Because of heavy snowfall in the Shimla district, all roads in the city of Shimla and the regions of the district are blocked and not safe to drive.
Working to clean ongoing roads and adequate efforts is being carried out by the Corporation Municipal Shimla, PWD and the Indian National Highway Authority (NHAI) to restore road connectivity.
Shimla police have asked all local residents and tourists to stay in the room as much as possible.
Tourists also asked not to travel to Shimla until the weather conditions improved.
Police Shimla on Friday has received information that a pregnant woman who experiences workache is trapped in Dhali in the midst of snowfall.
A team from the Dhali police station reached the place and the woman was taken to Kamala Nehru Hospital for treatment.
