TOKYO: SoftBank Group Corp chief executive Masayoshi Son’s remuneration for the last business year dropped by 52 percent to 100 million yen ($915,000) including basic cover, a filing by the Western conglomerate revealed on Thursday. The revelation before SoftBank’s annual general meeting on June 23 follows a tumultuous year that saw the team by the Covid-19 outbreak before rebounding to document gain on market appetite because of its own technology investments.
