PANAJI: Nightlife Doyen Ricardo D’Souza is claimed to be in a social media post on Monday that he has sold the Tito club – one of the most popular party goals in the country and the brand of state iconic hospitality – and “their whole business in Goa” because of “harassment “From the” officials “state government for the amount that is not disclosed.
D’Souza did not name the buyer, but said, “I personally suffered at least because I have been adequately compensated and even future generations do not need to work”.
Even though he blamed the state government for the sale of all his family’s business, he expressed his gratitude to CM Pramod Sawant and several others.
Claiming that his development left him with “sadness and anger”, and that he left many of his unemployed staff, he asked “officials” to hire his staff “because I have never planned a business in Goa.” Part of not identifying buyers, Ricardo also does not determine whether the Tito brand will continue.
“End of time!” He posted.
Ricardo and his brother David runs Club Tito’s, Bollywood Discotheque, and Café Mambo – all parts of the Tito brand – and also Director of Resort and Entertainment Tito Ltd along with Lucille Dsouza.
Both brothers have at least 15 different companies as part of the Tito group.
While some active companies, others have been hit by the company registrar.
In his post, Ricardo said: “By ‘official’ which I mean all those who are harassed, such as police, planning and development authorities, coastal regulations, NGOs, Panpayat and Sarpanchas, blocking development officers and representatives of collectors.” Founded by Tito Henry De Souza in 1971, Goa Tito is a popular place for Hippies and world tourists who want to escape from the chaos of the world.
