Jammu: A jawan soldier was killed and someone else suffered an injury in a mine explosion along the control line (LOC) in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Sumber One Jawan was killed, while others suffered injuries in a blast that occurred during operations in advanced areas along the control line in the Poonch Krishna Ghati sector on Saturday.
Confirming Death, Pro (Defense) LT COL Devender Anand, “On July 23, Sepoy Kamal Dev Vaidya was on duty operational in the Krishna Ghati sector, Poonch Regency (J & K) and while moving it critically in an accidental mine explosion.
“” He was immediately evacuated to the nearest medical facility but then gave up on his injury, “said Colonel Anand.
Sepoy Kamal Dev Vaidya (27) belongs to Village-Ghumarwin, P / O Lag-Manwin, Bhoranj, District – Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, said Colonel Anand.
He survived his mother.
Sepoy Kamal Dev Vaidya is a brave warrior, highly motivated and sincere, said Colonel Anand.
